This is Dropias top red wine made from specially selected Feteasca Neagra grapes from their oldest vines grown in their Insuratei vineyards located close to the Danube Delta near the Black Sea.
The wine displays great structure and complexity. The Feteasca Neagra variety is known for producing flavours of blackcurrants with nuances of dark chocolate. These flavours combined with generous oak ageing provide the rich complexity and concentration of flavours, with hints of vanilla and tobacco. A richly flavoured wine with a long lingering finish.
Well worth the money!
